Roo and Todd Married!

Roo and Todd Wight.

My sister was the worlds most beautiful bride ever!!

Family shot at the Timpanogos temple

This picture is out of order, but this was the morning after the wedding. Sofie didn't get to bed until really late, and somehow decided that 5am would be a great time to wake up.
This was her after she finally fell back asleep around 7am.

Keeping Meimei busy at the luncheon

Sofie and aunt Renee

Meili was an angel all day! Played well, napped well, and loved all the attention!

6 Months? Seriously?

Mei is 6 months old! She's learning to babble, sit, crawl (way too soon if you ask me), and eat solids foods. At her checkup today we found that my low milk supply is effecting her negatively. :( She hasn't gained any weight in 2 months, so formula may be the next step. She's thriving in all other aspects! I especially love that part where she sleeps almost 12 hours straight at night!!

Oh yeah, and here is a shot of the two teeth that she loves to chomp with!

Such a stinkin' dolly!

FINALLY!!!

Derek Graduated!! Hip Hip!!
There's no ceremony this semester though, so we just had a nice dinner at Olive Garden with a few family members. It was a super last second thing though, so don't feel sad if you weren't there!

Daddy get the shotgun

I have been having so much fun with tulle! A headband, a little hot glue, some ribbon and trim and voila cradle robbing!

The white flower was just something I clipped in her hair, but it was a cute addition.

Can You Guess?

Can you guess which "first" Meimei experienced today?

Not too sure about the taste...

But she loved playing with the spoon and the bowl.

Meili is 5 months old!! Seriously?
The latest as of this week:

Mei is rolling from back to front, and occasionally the other way as well although I've never caught her actually doing it, I just find her when she's done. This development took me by surprise because Sofie didn't roll until she was 7 months!

We moved her to her crib last week and two days later she started sleeping a solid 12 hours at night! Talk about amazing! Although it's terribly bittersweet for a nursing mommy...too bad I can't sleep those 12 hours too.

Started feeding her rice cereal tonight.

She's a darling and I'm so glad she outgrew her freak out screaming stage, as well as her no-sleeping stage. I think we'll keep this one :)

More changes!

Meili is in her own bed tonight, in her own room. sniff sniff. It's bittersweet to have her growing up and so far away. She doesn't do well sleeping in her crib, so we'll see how much sleep I get tonight!

Meili is officially at the toe grabbing stage. It's so cute! One of my favorite stages ever!

Mei rolled over today from back to front. It took her about 45 minutes of practice today but she finally got it! The funniest thing is to see her try and flip from front to back. It turns into more of a somersault. So dang cute!

The 4th!

The family picnic with cousins, games, food, and fun. And a little bit of rain.

I Tried...

...to make a wholesome dinner. And I succeeded. However, after too long of silence I went to check on Sofie. She was in a tutu, fuzzy pink boots and covered in mud, flinging it at my car.

Meili's faves

Try as I may to destroy the habit...

It is extremely difficult to get Meili to laugh out loud. I've only heard it 3 times and Shayla was one of the lucky ones to get it out of her!!

Our garden, a little wilted from the heat but otherwise thriving!

Picnic at Great-Grandma A's

We were thrilled to find a way for Grandma to be able to hold darling Mei by setting her safely on the walker while being secured in Grandma's arms.

Sofie discovering the joys of baseball in Grandma's backyard. Thanks daddy for showing her the correct stance!

Lots and lots of swimming.
