Ollie Updates!

Ahhh!  He's growing too fast!
Here are some highlights from Oliver's last couple months.

First solid food.
He looks happy, but he hated it.  Gagged on it.

Eventually I just gave him the spoon to play with.

Until he jammed it down his throat and started crying...

Grabby toes!  I LOVE this stage with babies.
They entertain themselves with their chubby piggies.

The bumbo!
He loved being able to interact with everyone at face level instead of laying on the floor.
And lots of drool.

This was Ollie's favorite spot.  His swing.  He took AWESOME naps in this.
Unfortunately we had to break him of the habit and teach him how to sleep in his crib.
It was a tough week, but we did it.

See, he slept like a rock in this thing.

Tummy time became more fun for him.
Less fussy.

He's the happiest baby of mine so far!

Getting a little more mobile.
About 2 minutes after I took this picture, he rolled over for the first time!

Building up those muscles for crawling!

This face is my sunshine.

Christmas Down South

This year was a St. George year.
Everyone came and it was a memory packed Christmas for the kiddos!
We had 9 kids age 8 and under (plus one teenager).  It was chaos.

A few of a the littlest ones crowding around sick Sofie to watch Netflix on the phone.

But mostly they stayed outside the whole week.  Look at that weather!!

All but Ollie, on Christmas Eve waiting for the "Reindeer Games" to start.

Aunt Kristy and Uncle Seth were fabulous and put together a scavenger hunt for the kids.
Here they are looking for clues in the fridge.

Winners!

Derek not feeling so well. We were all sick. Seriously.
Ollie got to go to the Instacare for croup and an ear infection.  :(

Ollie opening his cousin gift.

Sofie was so excited for her trendy socks!

All of the third generation in their snugglies on Christmas Eve.
So excited for Santa!

Santa came!

The get-psyched-pre-christmas Christmas party

The month of November was void of picture moments.  Seriously.  But December is packed, so here I am trying to catch up!

The weekend before Christmas we had our Porcaro party/amazing Italian feast.
My beautiful girls getting ready to go!

Baby Ollie starred as Jesus

Meili as a Wiseman

Sofie and cousin W. as heralding angels

Halloween

Finally catching up with the Halloween pictures!
We finished up the month with some beautifully carved pumpkins.
Aunt Liz and Uncle Jake came to join us.
Liz tried with all her might to carve the warty pumpkin on the right.
It was hard as a rock and she gave up.

Carving pumpkins is very serious business.

For Halloween Lil' Ollie was a darling (I mean fierce) lion.

Meimei was a kitty cat.

Sofie was a witch and Mom was a pirate!

Before trick-or-treating, we went to Derek's work party where the girls got their faces painted.

Besties Sofie and Sierra off to beg candy off of people.

Derek ACTUALLY dressed up this year!

The loot!

Already zoned out before the sugar coma.

Ollie's Blessing

On October 19th we had Oliver blessed.  We did the gathering at our home, had a small lunch afterward.  It was so great to have everyone come visit!

Our newly expanded family

Ollie and Grandma B.
You can kind of see his darling coat tails in this picture.

Ollie in his snazzy tux.

Happy on his big day.

Lookin' sharp.

Such a cute dolly.

And Mom taking care of two bawlin' babes.
