We had a fantastic Spring Break at Goblin Valley. I think it was the best camping trip we've had thus far (and there have been many). We found a nice cozy spot off the "road". So much better than a campground, tons of space, and we could make all the noise we wanted! Plus we had all our own perfect sized goblins to play on.
Ollie loved it, but was sick with a fever and nasty throat/cough thing going on. No sleep at night...
Perfect Meili sized boulder. Not sure what she was so sad about though.
Keeping Ollie contained in various contraptions was a fun challenge.
Playing in cousins' trailer. They got in trouble a few minutes later when we realized they had been making "sand angels" right before jumping in the bed. A little exfoliation for those sleeping in the bed that night.
It was our first dose of real sun in months and months. Fabulously perfect weather while we were there!
I love the convenience of older girl cousins that love kids.
Posing on a rock.
We found some white mineral/rock and the girls had fun decorating the rocks and creating potions and things.
We had had a long discussion about sedimentary rocks. We decided this was our "sedentary" rock. Perfectly shaped for a lounge session.
My favorite photo bomber under Mei's arm...
The kids loved all the freedom! Enter the park and let 'em loose!!
"I am the Goblin of this Castle!"
Still happy as sunshine with a fever.
Meili kept Mom on edge!
So much freedom!
Roastin' weenies.
The happiest camp scene around.
Quick snack break on a hike.
Another mode of containment for the babes.
"I'm tired."
Another perfectly sized Meili rock.
The convenience of mother nature. Perfect table top for our camp stove.
Easter Egg hunt on the Goblins. So much fun!
Hunting for Easter Eggs.
Made for some sandy Easter candy, but a fun hunt.
Can't wait to make this an annual tradition!
